

 
Shiatsu. My bodywork (therapeutic massage) practice here in Albuquerque is focused on shiatsu blended with myofascial and cranial sacral modalities. Shiatsu (which, unlike massage, does not use oils and is done fully clothed) allows me to reduce pain and increase range of motion for my clients.
Prana and bodywork. Developing breath control in my yoga practice improves my rapport with clients and my ability to connect with their energy during bodywork sessions. This leads to my clients' greater health and overall well-being.


Prana and yoga. I currently teach yoga classes at
Balanced Life Yoga and More in Albuquerque. I teach beginning through advanced students in classes ranging from relaxing and restorative to more intense strength-oriented workouts. Reminding my students to focus on their breath deepens their yoga practice and enhances their daily lives.


Prana yoga and bodywork. Prana is a Sanskrit word that is similar in meaning to chi (qi or ki) in that it refers to vital life energy and is directly connected to the breath. By working with and focusing on the breath, life force can be strengthened and cultivated. It is this belief that I take into all my work.
